PLOT

Following a more traditional storyline feel, Cinderella is locked away to complete chores by her evil step-mother Tremaine and her ugly step-sisters Freckles and Speckles. Her best friend Buttons arrives to tell her the Prince is on his way into the village to invite everyone to a ball where he is looking for love. Tremaine catches Buttons and throws him onto the street as the step-sisters arrive and make their demands of Cinderella.

Never fear, for Fairy Godmother is there - she appears disguised and transforms her into a worthy Princess and sends her on her way to the ball. She has to abandon the Prince at Midnight as she transforms back to normality - The Prince and his best aide Dandini follow but lose sight of her. Their only option to find her is to ask every woman in the Kingdom to try the glass slipper left behind as she ran away. Will it fit the step-sisters? Of course not! But with Cinderella locked in the basement when the royals arrive, they need audience participation with a little persuasion from Loki the Cat to discover where she is and free her to see if the slipper can fit her.
